Heart of God International Ministries, Inc.

By networking ministries with like passion and mission, Heart of God International Ministries (HGIM) was formed to fulfill the Lord’s commission to every believer …

  1. To “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15);
  2. To be a demonstration of love, mercy, and compassion to all nations, people groups, languages, and beliefs;
  3. To offer humanitarian relief and assistance in the time of disaster, calamity, and/or war to all people regardless of race, nationality, religious preferences, age, or gender;
  4. To expand the global Body through the planting of new churches and assemblies and ongoing discipleship;
  5. To be a voice for those who are silenced through social or cultural oppression;
  6. To encourage unity in the Body of Christ breaking down denominational barriers so the emphasis on our corporate commission of being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ will effectively communicate the Gospel of Love with or without the spoken or written Word; and
  7. To enable the precious and sacred gifts bestowed on mankind through faith in Christ so the full benefit of God-given talents can be utilized for the expansion and strengthening of His kingdom on earth.

Our History

Ours is a history of multiplied blessings … phenomenal blessings for which we glorify God. Heart of God International Ministries is the “parent” organization under which Heart of God Africa, Heart of God Haiti, Heart of God India, Soldiers Bible Ministry, JournEzine, and various other electronic and printed media outreaches are networked together. We are in a position of tremendous growth both in the US and across the globe.

Heart of God International Ministries has a history of being evangelistic and Word-focused. In 2003, Global God Ministries (a 501(c)3 non-profit evangelistic ministry) and Focus On the Word (a fast-growing internet ministry focused on ministry of the Word of God through teaching, writing, and online publishing), joined together to form Women of PASSIONS, a non-denominational women’s ministry formed to strengthen women through fellowship and solid Bible teaching.

At this time, Global God Ministries had established successful and ongoing evangelistic ministries. Focus On the Word had grown an online ministry with thousands of readers of a daily devotional, engaged in writing and preparing study material for publication, full-length dramas, all of an evangelistic nature. As the two ministries joined together, July of 2004 marked the first women’s conference held in Benton, Illinois, launching this new ministry under the umbrella of Global God Ministries. This new work was born out of joint efforts and passion for ministry, to strengthen and bring encouragement to the Body of Christ, particularly in the area of women’s ministry while not neglecting international evangelistic outreaches.

As time passed it became apparent that the Lord was leading us to expand beyond women’s ministry. So, it was determined that Women of PASSIONS should incorporate under a new name which more correctly represented the scope of the ministry’s vision and purpose. On January 12, 2007, Heart of God International Ministries was formally formed and incorporated. It was also at that time that non-profit status with the IRS was granted.

Today, Heart of God International Ministries has grown to include international ministry in Africa, Haiti, India, Israel and through Soldiers Bible Ministry (among others). Outreaches with national focus include the Ignite Your Passion Conference Tour and development of local interactive participation to build awareness and support.

We praise God for what He has accomplished through this network of ministries. But more than that, our continued prayer is that He alone be glorified as we continue to seek His will to accomplish all that He has purposed, presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will hear, and bring encouragement and strength to the Body of Christ through whatever means God makes available to us.

Our Mission

According to the Great Commission, Heart of God International Ministries, has been called to increase and strengthen the Kingdom of God through teaching, preaching, and making disciples using whatever means are available to accomplish this weighty task.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

“… Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Furthermore, God has commissioned Heart of God International Ministries to be about building up and strengthening the global Body of Christ.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (Romans 12:10-12)

According to these two mandates of ministry, Heart of God International Ministries is called to encourage, strengthen, and build the Body of Christ according to the admonition and instruction we receive in the Word of God. In so doing, we are committed to carry the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.

Our mission is to enlist men and women from across the globe to live the Word of God, to love the Word of God, and to minister the Word of God according to the gifts and talents they have been given. All this is being done that God might be glorified and exalted throughout the earth.

Our Purpose

International, National and Local Evangelism
Taking the Great Commission seriously, it is HGIM’s objective to not only reach outside the borders of these United States to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but also acknowledge the need for local/domestic evangelism. By use of a variety of ministry outreaches and techniques, HGIM is able to reach more people both globally and locally.

Jesus was very explicit in his instruction to the disciples to tend to discipleship … not only telling the Good News to all creatures, but feeding the sheep. HGIM is dedicated to see to the salvation and spiritual maturity of God’s people through joint efforts with the local and international Body of Christ by providing the means for discipleship through teaching and preaching, development of discipleship materials, and by demonstrating Christlikeness in the home, church, and global community.

By enlisting the help of local partners and associates, HGIM’s goal is ultimately God-dependence as opposed to man-dependence. By employing a variety of opportunities for sustainability, each network ministry takes particular care to seize every opportunity to not only provide for the present need, but to teach skills so future needs are met. This is accomplished through an ongoing process of implementing a variety of programs geared to the locale, culture, and need including training in administration and budgeting, along with skillful work incorporating a growing understanding of how to ensure supply chain management. This objective will continue to give God His glory by wisely investing in the right assets to become self-sustaining after we’ve completed our initial work.

Enabling Gifts
Every person has value and purpose in the Kingdom of God; every believer has been given gifts to strengthen, bless and encourage the Body of Christ. HGIM seeks out opportunities to make way for individuals’ Spirit-given gifts to be cultivated, nurtured, and used in an atmosphere conducive to individual and corporate growth.

Heart of God Israel is a member of the Heart of God International Ministries (HGIM) network, sharing the same Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, Vision, and Purpose with all divisions of the HGIM network.
